Hearty lunch after examining the gift shops in Olde Mystick Village.
Sliced steak sandwich, cheddar. Seemed a reasonable lunch order in a place called the Steak Loft.
And it was good, too; more like thick-sliced roast beef than steak, nicely melted cheese, firm bun.
This was served with home-made potato chips--as well as a big vegetable wrap, and a huge side of steak fries to share, and with iced teas it was hard to get the check to $20.
This was served in an enormous bar-room (the building looks like a barn from the outside). There's a fancy dining room too, where you can run the check higher with steak and surf'n'turf mains.
