From Union Market, although it's also available from Murray's, a mild, creamy, pasteurized cheese from the Rhone-Alps.
Whatever Murray's says, pasteurization sucks for soft cheeses like this, drastically reducing the potential funkiness and complexity. Lovely texture here, but the flavor is just soothingly pleasant rather than powerfully vegetal, as you might hope from the look of the cheese. I drank a fruity young Ribero red with it, Monte Castillo.
