So there I am, sitting at a corner table in this corner restaurant on West 12th Street.  And I am saying to myself, this all seems very familiar.  Perhaps in a previous life...

Duh.  It used to be Jarnac of course.  That hadn't occurred to me on route.  Now it's Recette - despite the name a much less French and more modern American operation than Jarnac used to be.
